Any horse racing forecasting system you are likely to use will almost certainly use historical data in one form or another. What we need is a way to measure how each horse in a race stacks-up to the task in hand and how it compares to its competitors, and one way to do this is to consider various aspects of past performance. However, we must appreciate that horses are not machines and will very rarely perform like one.

Our On Form software uses a mix of statistics in an effort to produce an informed rating for each horse in a race. Our software doesn't only look at what position a horse achieved amongst its history; it looks for other credentials which may differentiate it from its competition

Races can be very varied and On Form will look at what relevant information is available for each horse in selected races. Although On Form will produce a forecast for every selected race some horses will have little history to work with. However, each produced forecast will provide an indication of available form to help you decide if a bet is warranted.
